About

Dr. Kimberly Grocher is a psychotherapist with a PhD from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service where her research focuses on using media & technology to enhance mental health practice, organizational, and policy development as well as mind-body interventions to improve health outcomes for women of colour.

She got her BSc in Psychology from Towson University in Baltimore, and her MD and an MSW from Howard University in Washington, DC. She completed post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Couple Therapy at the Training Institute for Mental Health in NYC and received coach training through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She was a fellow in Harvard Medical School’s inaugural Media & Medicine program.

Dr. Grocher has provided psychotherapy, coaching, and consultation services in numerous settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse facilities, and sub-acute/long-term care.
